Joshua Egbert was born in 1999 with bilateral clubfoot. At 6 weeks of age, his parents took him to the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics where he was treated with the Ponseti "non-surgical" approach. By 2 1/2 months of age, his feet had been corrected. The videos are of Joshua at 10 years of age. Joshua hopes that the 150000 other children born with Clubfoot each and every year can recieve treatment with the Ponseti strategy. ReplyDeleteYou are an angel. I was very scared just before watching this video. I am much more confident that my boy is going to be ok. The clubfoot was diagnostic on my 22nd week and I am only 27 years old... never seen it before. I am brazilian and I live in Dublin and I have to say that they do not know a lot about this condition... thank GOD I do have access to the internet and I can make my own and better choices for my little baby. The foot of my little one is up, I think it is called calcaneovalgus.
